Something that we’re very proud to offer is our Tractive semi-active suspension technology package for both Defender 90 & 110.

The fully remote, electronic system allows the driver to adjust damping, pitch and roll on the move as and when required. You can also personalise preset modes to cater for all driving conditions.

This technology truly revolutionises the ride and handling of the Defender and brings it up to the cutting edge of suspension technology and performance.

TracTive consciously chooses 46mm high-flow pistons in various versions, extremely low friction seals and 16 mm super-finished, induction hardened, Q and T CrMo steel piston rods for all dampers. Shock absorber bodies are made from hardened aluminium alloy to ensure thermal stability and light weight. For McPhersons, a steel inverted strut design with 38mm high-flow piston in various versions is used. This design guarantees minimal stiction and maximum structural stiffness by using bearings and components derived from the highest levels of motorbike racing.
