Please Note: An aftermarket hub is required for installation to your Defender, compatible with either a 36 or 48 spline boss. To ensure the correct fit, we recommend removing your existing steering wheel and counting the splines.

Reference Guide:

• 48 spline bosses were fitted on Defenders from 1993–1998, base model vehicles from 1998–2008, and all Defenders from 2008 onward.

• 48 spline bosses are not compatible with County or XS specification vehicles from 1998–2007. They will also not fit Defenders produced before 1993.

• 48 spline wheels come in two variations: early 48 spline wheels with indicator cancelling pegs (“outie”) or later versions without pegs (“innie”), which may include a traction control button.
