Alu-Cab Rooftop Tent Gen 3-R

The Alu-Cab Gen 3-R Roof Tent is a strong, lightweight rooftop tent designed for touring, overland travel, and weekend camping. Built from aluminium and designed for real-world use, it offers a quick and simple setup while staying compact and secure when closed.

The updated Gen 3-R design includes integrated solar wiring supporting up to 600W, a diesel heater inlet, improved internal storage, and built-in USB-A and USB-C charging points, making it a practical setup for longer trips and off-grid travel.

With a sleeping area measuring 2.10m x 1.2m, the tent provides comfortable space for two adults while still fitting neatly to a wide range of pickup trucks and overland builds. The tent weighs approximately 76kg excluding the mattress and ladder.

Built for all-weather use, the aluminium shell and durable tent fabric are designed to handle demanding conditions while keeping setup fast and straightforward. Interior LED lighting, storage pockets, and a condensation mat help improve comfort and usability when travelling.

Included with the tent are the mounting brackets, ladder with carry bag, mattress, mesh underlay, spring poles, internal storage pockets, and rain canopies for the side and rear openings.

The pre-installed solar wiring is designed for longer cable runs and supports up to 50 amps over 5 metres and 35 amps over 10 metres, making it suitable for more advanced off-grid electrical setups.
